For microfinance

Centre meetings on a book that balances.

For microfinance companies and MFIs, Fused turns each centre meeting into one balanced batch, keeps compulsory savings inside the loan's own disbursement, and prices repeat borrowers by loan cycle.

The days you will recognise

The sheet and the cash disagree
An officer comes back from a meeting with cash, a sheet and a list of corrections, and the branch finds out at the end of the week that the drawer is short.
Savings taken after the payout
Compulsory savings depend on someone remembering to take a deposit after the loan is paid out, and sometimes nobody does.
The same borrower, twice
A borrower enrolled under an old NIC at one branch appears under a new one at another, with two loans and nothing linking them.
Repeat borrowers priced as new
A fourth-cycle borrower pays the same rate as a first-time one, or a second product is invented to stop that.

How Fused handles it

Centre sheets as one batch

The sheet is worked out for the meeting date and keyed back as one batch that must equal the cash the officer counted. Every refused line is listed in one pass, and each borrower gets one receipt.

Field collections

Groups and centres you define

Your own levels, dated membership, roles held one at a time, and a group that can borrow as one.

Clients and KYC

Weekly schedules, cycle pricing

Weekly, fortnightly or monthly repayments, flat or declining balance, with rates banded by loan cycle so a repeat borrower can get a better rate. A due date on a Poya day or another holiday you enter follows the product's rule.

Lending

Compulsory savings at disbursement

The upfront amount is kept back inside the disbursement's own entry, and per-instalment savings sit in the collection sheet's second column.

Savings and deposits

NIC checks at enrolment

Old and new NIC formats normalise to one form, so an active number cannot belong to two clients, with a warning when the birth date or gender does not match.

Clients and KYC

Officer performance

Each officer's active loans, outstanding, overdue and portfolio at risk as at a date, from a built-in report.

Reporting

SMS through your own gateway

Connect any HTTP SMS provider with a short script that runs in a sandbox, without a software release.

Questions institutions ask

Do you support group lending and centre meetings?

Yes. Groups and centres sit in a hierarchy you define, and a group can borrow as one. The collection sheet is worked out for each meeting date and keyed back as one batch that must equal the cash the officer counted.

Can compulsory savings be collected at the meeting?

Yes. The sheet carries a second column for each member's savings, the officer keys one amount, and the loan takes what it is due first.

Is there a mobile app for field officers?

Fused runs in a web browser, and there is no separate mobile app. An offline field app is on the roadmap.

See it on your own products and numbers.
